Google account access

With the owner's consent, the bridge requests the https://mail.google.com/ OAuth scope to connect to Gmail over IMAP and SMTP. This permits reading messages and folders, synchronizing read/unread status, moving messages to Archive or Trash, searching mail, and sending mail from Apple Mail. The bridge uses this access only to provide these functions to the owner.

How data is handled

Gmail is the authoritative mailbox. The bridge retrieves message content as needed to answer requests from the owner's Apple Mail devices; it does not copy the entire mailbox to a separate mail store. Z-Push stores device synchronization state on the owner's server. OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally in a restricted, encrypted cache. Diagnostic logging is limited and is configured not to record complete message bodies.

The bridge sends and receives mailbox data between Google, the owner's self-hosted server, and the owner's Apple Mail devices over their private Tailscale network. Mailbox contents and OAuth credentials are not sent to this public website or to Cloudflare Pages. This website contains only static information about the application. Cloudflare may process ordinary website-visit data under its own privacy policy when someone visits these pages.

Sharing, retention, and control

The operator does not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising, analytics, or training. Mailbox content is not shared with unrelated third parties. Device synchronization state and encrypted OAuth credentials remain on the owner's server until removed by the owner. The owner can revoke the app's Google access in Google Account settings and can delete the local credentials and device state.
